How to rank higher on XtremeTop100

XtremeTop100 placement is not Google ranking

Two different rankings get mixed up here:

• Your position on XtremeTop100 is the list's own order, set by your monthly vote count. It decides how many players browsing XtremeTop100 see your server.
• Your position on Google is where your server's website appears when someone searches. Google ranks pages on their own content and on the links pointing to them; toplist votes play no part in it.

Most of this guide is about the first. There is a short section on the second at the end.

How XtremeTop100 orders servers

The main list and each game category are sorted by the votes a server received in the current month. The count restarts for everyone at the monthly reset, and each player can vote once every 12 hours after a human verification check. Each listing also shows "Visits", the clicks it sent out.

How many votes a good position takes depends on where you are listed. The main list is crowded; most game categories are not. These are the counts on 24 September 2026, 24 days into the month:

What XtremeTop100's rules say

XtremeTop100 has no separate rules page; its rules are on the Add Site page and in its privacy policy. The ones that affect ranking:

• Adding your private server or game site is always free.
• Vote manipulation, automated voting or fraud is forbidden.
• Duplicate entries (same title, content, or URL) will be removed.
• Domain name changes are NOT allowed. and You must create a new account for each domain.
• The privacy policy says the data it collects is used to prevent botting or cheating in the voting system.

The rules say nothing either way about vote rewards, where players get an in-game item for voting.

Ways to move up

1. Make voting part of your players' routine

Each player can add one vote every 12 hours, so a community that votes twice a day doubles its count. Put the vote link where players already are: the game launcher or login screen, your website, your Discord, and a reminder after each 12-hour window. Keep the path short, since every vote needs the verification step on XtremeTop100's side.

2. Decide how to handle vote rewards

Many servers give a small in-game reward for voting. XtremeTop100's rules don't mention rewards, so read the current Add Site page before you rely on them. If you do reward votes, XtremeTop100's Postback system, included with Gold membership, can tell your server which votes were completed, so rewards only go to players who actually voted.

3. Start strong after the reset

Every server starts from zero at 00:00 UTC on the 1st. Votes in the first days of the month are the cheapest way onto the first page, and a lead built then is one the others have to overtake. Votes in the last days still count, but only until the reset.

4. List in the right category

Players looking for a specific game browse that game's category, and as the table above shows, a category's first page can take a few hundred votes a month where the main list takes thousands. Make sure your server is filed under its game.

5. Make the listing worth clicking

A high position only helps if players click. Use your server's real name and game in the title, a banner that shows what makes the server different, and a description with the facts players compare: rates, version, features, population. Keep one listing per domain; duplicates are removed.

6. Paid visibility from XtremeTop100 itself

Listing is free, but XtremeTop100 sells two kinds of visibility on its advertising page:

• Gold membership: a featured banner, gold title and badge and priority visibility, a Bonus + 100 votes monthly after the toplist reset, and access to the Postback system.
• Banner ads: priced per category and shown for 31 days; Banner ads are a service displayed for 31 days after payment and are non-refundable. Prices are shown after you log in.

What about buying votes?

Services sell XtremeTop100 votes, including UpvoteRocket, which runs this site; there it costs 12 tokens per 1,000 votes (€10.13 to €5.20 depending on the package). Weigh that against the list's rule quoted above: XtremeTop100 forbids automated voting and collects data to detect it. Votes the list discards are gone, and on UpvoteRocket they are not refunded. Ranking higher on Google is a separate job

A top spot on XtremeTop100 doesn't move your website up in Google. For that, Google looks at your own site. A few basics that matter for a game server:

• Put your server's name and game in the page title and main heading of your homepage, so a search for the name finds you.
• Give players pages worth landing on: features, rates and version, how to join, rules, news. One clear page per topic works better than one long page.
• Make sure the site loads fast on phones and that each page can be reached through normal links.
• Links from places your players already use, such as game forums, community sites and your toplist listings, help people and search engines find you.

Your XtremeTop100 listing page can itself show up in Google for your server's name, which is one more reason to keep its title and description accurate.
